CATERING SERVICE ARRANGEMENT
At our catering website, we aim to provide transparent and fair pricing for our restaurant partners. To ensure this, we have devised a comprehensive calculation method:
Trip and Delivery Duration:
For each order, we consider the time involved in transportation and delivery. This includes an estimated driving time of 1.5 to 2 hours, along with a maximum waiting time of 15 minutes at each stop for pickups and drop-offs. Taking these factors into account, the total duration typically ranges from 2.8 hours to 4.5 hours for 5 trips and 5 pickups (each driver & time window).
Pricing Structure:
We charge a nominal fee of $2 per meal for our dedicated drivers, ensuring they earn a competitive rate. Based on this, the estimated minimum earning for our drivers is $22.22 per hour. Additionally, we offer an extra service charge of $15 if customers require a specific delivery time instead of a time window, ensuring flexibility and convenience.
Donation Opportunity:
In line with our commitment to social responsibility, we have included a donation button for our Free Bird Fund, allowing customers to contribute towards charitable causes effortlessly.
Average Meal Calculation:
To determine the pricing for meals, we consider various factors. The average meal cost is $16.50, with a maximum discount of 20%, resulting in a discounted price of $3.30. From this, we deduct the driver fee of $2 & a designated Service Fee of $0.50 per meal for "heha" -Catering, leaving a estimated final price of $10.80 per meal, excluding taxes.
Additional Notes:
- Our offers are valid for a maximum duration of one week, ensuring freshness & quality.
- Restaurant partners are limited to featuring three items on the menu, allowing for streamlined operations and customer satisfaction.
